  • First time here, visiting to watch a Badger game and we were not disappointed. This is a historic, 100 year old stadium with modern additions. It was easy to find and easy to get in. But a little diff...  more »
  • Great venue, crowd has great team spirit and at times can be very loud and wild. Stay for the fifth quarter and enjoy their great band. I recommend staying a little longer to let the crowd thin out.  more »
  • Coupled with a pre-game celebration at South Union...what could be better than an afternoon spent at Camp Randall. And stay through the Fifth Quarter--even if it's a downpour. Totally worth it!  more »

  • Nothing like badger games on a fall afternoon. Great environment (when the students show up). Have never had a bad seat. Arrive early to enjoy the environment and avoid parking problems.
  • There's nothing like a Badger Football game! I've been coming since I was 3 and am now taking my 3 year old to games every fall. You can't beat the atmosphere here on game day - it's unlike any stadium I've ever been to. Can't wait for the fall to roll around again this year - I'm getting antsy! On, Wisconsin!
  • Home of the Badgers, but also an important civil war historical site! Love this place.
  • ONE OF THE GREATEST COLLEGE FOOTBALL VENUES IN AMERICA. Hard to top the fun in and outside the stadium.
  • Top-notch atmosphere, players, coaches, and fans! No better place than Camp Randall Stadium on gameday. When you're here, you must order a turkey leg and cheese curds! Don't forget to Jump Around during the fourth quarter and hang around for the "fifth quarter" performed by the band. I have never felt a stadium shake and erupt as loud as it did when Jump Around played. Looking forward to the next season! Go Badgers.

Where to stay in Madison

The university and state politics draw a constant stream of visitors to Madison, so you'll find a wide range of accommodations in the city. Numerous hotels circle the campus, and some of these overlook Lake Mendota. Moving onto the isthmus between Lake Mendota and Lake Monona, you'll find a handful of charming inns and bed and breakfasts, most of which offer panoramic views of the water. Areas south of Lake Monona feature national chain hotels and motels. These sit farther away from the action around campus and the State Capitol Building, but they can also offer water views and quiet settings near some of Madison's many parks.
