  • A beautiful place. The visitors do a great job of cleaning up after themselves, as well as the city for keeping the trails groomed. Very easy to navigate, be sure to keep on the trails as it is very large. It's so easy to forget you're in the city.. It feels like a piece of Northern Maine
  • One of my favorite places to hike with my dog. There is a huge variety in options of types of trails, so it's always a great spot to fit the mood I'm in. Parking is easy and plentiful even if it's packed. The trails are marked well and easy to follow along with the map.
  • Awesome park for hiking around with kids or pets. There's not really much rugged terrain, but there's variety in that you can go up for a nice view or down to the water to scrabble around on the rocks. Good levels of hiking for all preferences. The woods are quiet and pretty, and there are some good spots for picnics, pictures, or just enjoying the outdoors. I'm not sure if there's any camping allowed in the park, but we did find a spot where youngsters had clearly been enjoying the excitement of an unauthorized fire. I'll definitely be going back in different seasons to explore more and see the foliage evolve throughout the year.
  • I love Lynn Woods, it is a jewel for Lynn! A sprawling park, it offers many charms. There is a golf course for those so inclined, baseball diamonds, and my own favorite, a rose garden but the main appeal is the sprawling, natural woods that give the park its name. Graveled walking paths wind through oak, maple, pine and other hard and soft wood trees. Features like a tower and a reservoir lake add interest. Lovely and peaceful. Park is a favorite of dog walkers and nature lovers. There is free parking at the two entrances. Closes at sunset.
  • I can not say enough about Lynn woods. For a girl who grew up in Maine it has been a constant place of home to me. The trails are beautiful and the people and pets you meet along the way are friendly. The minute you walk in you are transported out of Lynn. The friends of Lynn do a wonderful job with thier youth programs. I have done the pirate hike every year for a long time in October. It is an amazing storytelling hike production that captures the entire audience. If you have never been to Lynn woods I'm sorry you have been missing out.
