  • I am an avid skier, and a member of the National Ski Patrol. So I had to try this place. VERY cool. Like skiing on wet toothbrushes. On the night I visited a bunch of students were doing freestyle tri...  more »
  • Not artificial snow, but a special surface that acts like snow. Great for tubing, skiing, and snowboarding.

  • Great place to sight see, has the best view in Lynchburg! Also a fun place for casual tubbing or a run down the slopes.
  • Unique place and great fun for the whole family. We loved it there.
  • Had a serious injury this feb which ended my season early. After 2 months of healing, was itching to ride again so drove down here to get my fix. It took me a few runs to get used to and after that, it was all fun from there. Its definitely different than snow so gotta keep that in mind and give it a chance. The surface is very cushy so it won't hurt as much when u fall which is great for progression. Got a chance to meet and ride with some great guys working there, Austin, Derrick, Kevin and Erick. Great vibes and just pure fun all around. Can't wait to go back!
  • My son and I had so much fun on their tubing runs. They also have a number of activities to choose from. They are atop Liberty Mountain and the views are spectacular.
  • This was my boyfriend's and my very first experience skiing and we LOVED it. We had a Groupon for a lesson for two and was able to use it right after the huge snowstorm/blizzard on the east coast. When we arrived I think we were both suprised at how young the staff was. I think my only "negative" comment is that everyone could have been a little more attentive and customer service oriented when we were actually in the area where we rented our gear. Our instructor's name was Eric and again I was surprised at how young he was, but Eric was wonderful! I'm sure it was a challenge handling two students who had zero experience, but he made it look easy. His instructions were very easy to follow and he was very accommodating to our needs. We spent about an hour with him before he had to move on to another lesson, but all the while he was still around to encourage us and tell us how we were doing great. By the end of the night we were skiing (with no poles at all) managing small "jumps," turning and stopping. Great experience for two first time skiiers!
