  • Great place to spend the day. I learned a lot by visiting. The only thing they are missing is food. I would have loved to be eating while walking!
  • Very educational for both adults and children! All staff there are very helpful and friendly. In addition, there is an App you can download, and you can do a self-tour at the heritage center.
  • Seeing through actual historical buildings how ranching came to exist in TX gives a fair idea of the living conditions of those pioneer ranchers... The carriages and lever action rifles collections are quite nice too.
  • The National Ranching Heritage Center in Lubbock is a great place for family outings. The facilities and the grounds are very well maintained and the events hosted at the NRHC are second to none. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable, and the ranch dwellings and structures are fascinating. The NRHC is well suited for kids and adults. The new APP that was recently released is full of information and will take you on a self guided tour. If you are in Lubbock for a meeting, football game, or family get together, you should consider taking a tour through the NRHC.
