  • Decent place is you know the locals and are down for a party. But at the most, you only really get good company for the $12 just to get in for the day. Be careful eating at the Marina. I got a Sampler plate that had fried jalapenos and other fried foods on it. It seems that all of it was fried at once in the same oil, because everything was spicy and tasted like jalapenos. This also tells me that they probably arent allergy friendly, since fish was a part of that sampler. Unless you own a boat, there isn't much else to do. There are 'trails', but nothing excited or even distant enough to let you feel secluded. Its really a small area. I also dont know if I would trust the fish if you plan on eating them. Lots of trash on the shore.
  • What do you get for eleven dollars a person. Then an extra dollar to swipe the card. I guess there is not enough card business there. I do not see what you pay for, this park is expansive. The state pays for the fish, the law enforcement is the county, the concession s are private& the RV rates pay there own. I have been to parks or refuges in 20+ state and this is pricey. There was trash on the west shore lines. A family of 4 would pay for the hour to scope yeah or even use I-mate labor ; it is a county park. I have worked in parks and refuges for 20 years . this appears to be a profiting on limited water resources. The boat ramps are just concert with no lines bumpers or any safety features. Then to make matters worse the lady said there is no map, just use your phone. I guess you can drive and look at the phone with kids running around. Then the gate arm would not lift, we played and she said is the cheap gate used. Eleven dollars per person gate. Waited 15 minutes to get the gate up.
  • Great weekend at the lake ,Easter weekend to be exact..my family had fun but most of all the fellow Mr .Post Camp Joe he is in charge of the camp sights r.v and travel trailer to be in order as far as people that need assistance or have questions about where to park there trailer or r.v. anyways he is very helpful gentleman they need to have ten more people like him helping out the paid customers with questions...๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘great job Mr.post camp Joe!!!!
