Purportedly the first "cageless" animal park in the United States, the touring roads through Lion Country Safari weave among animals commonly found on African safari. After purchasing a ticket to the park, you'll be handed an audiotape or CD to play as a guided tour for your drive. It is important to drive slowly and keep doors and windows closed at all times. In the chimpanzee exhibit, chimps mimic their natural behavior by migrating from island to island within the park, and the exhibit are also used to research the primates' complex behavior. After the driving tour, the visit Safari World Ferris wheel, petting zoo, and rides. • This place is AMAZING! Great price and you really get your money's worth. I took 9 year old twins and a 10 year old. I would recommend doing the drive through Safari first as it does get busy. In...

  • WE LOVED THIS PLACE! Our toddler was a bit fussy the entire time, but we made the best of it and he really enjoyed the splash pad. The drive through portion lasts about an hour to and hour and a half, but it seems to go by so fast with all the different animals! Most people were pretty patient as others took pictures and enjoyed themselves. The walk through part was a little shorter, but still fun too. We got to feed the giraffes, which was a nice attraction. The splash pad was perfect for our toddler and kids of all ages, really. All of the staff were very friendly, informative, and knowledgeable. We will definitely come back here and highly recommend for others to visit too!
  • We’ve gone here with family and friends and it’s always a great time. The park is really well laid out and you can see a huge variety of different animals. It’s really impressive to see just how big and powerful the rhinos are up close and personal! Now that’s some power packed into their bodies! My wife and I always have as much fun as the kids, us all being huge animal lovers. The staff is super friendly and helpful. My kids’ favorite part is feeding the giraffes, those beautiful and peaceful gentle giants. This park is a must do....over and over!
  • Great place to feel like you're on vacation. Drive through safari was awesome, and the water parks are great for your little ones. Beautiful grounds to walk on as well. We liked it so much that we purchased yearly passes. Can't wait to come back and will be bringing some of my kids' friends as well. Love that they don't nickel and dime you to death - free parking as well! Definite place to visit!
  • Great fun for all ages. Very handicap accessible fire wheelchair access. The audio tour was a nice touch to the drive around the safari. For those wondering you can pass through on about 45b minutes but we took our time and got through in just over an hour. Many activities for kids of all ages and adults. Jada that checked us in was exceptional as was Alexis in the gift shop. Our four year old loved the boat ride and the train. Charlotte on the boat ride was very upbeat and answered all of our questions.
  • This place is a hidden gem! I will say it feels so nice to have this in our pocket here locally. The water park should put a warning sign not to go barefoot or put children on the floor I’ve seen children later on realize they have actual cuts from a rub burn affect from the flooring. So that’s a sign I would add and something I would change for the better. However the water park is amazing and I hope they keep adding and extending it. The touching the animals etc exhibits are so wonderful and it’s great that it’s included it adds value to the price. Great job Lion Country! The animals look happy and healthy and the customer service has been a joy so far. I hope they add more food options and don’t run out. If not this would all be 5s!
