  • Definitely more of a leisure trail than a "hike" but I LOVE this place; I've made sure to go every season and it's ALWAYS beautiful! Not a lot of shade available so be generous with the sunscreen and ...  read more »

  • This was a beautiful hike. As a relatively new hiker, I found this hike easy but still a challenge at some points. Great views even from the trail head! The keyhole in Devil's Backbone is a great sight to see. There isn't much shade so bring a lot of water and sunscreen or a hat. And there were sunflowers EVERYWHERE! My favorite.
  • Decent amount of parking. Restrooms are at trail head. Hiking this trail is fairly easy and provides some good views. Mountain biking the trail is fun but becomes really rough in portions. Casual riders will find some areas impassable. Fun in both snow and sunshine, hard going when trail is muddy and melting.
  • Beautiful trails and the nicest park rangers ever! Cody Thompson a huge thank you for the assistance, ice and a ride back the last 1/2 mile. My knee thanks you very much for your kindness!
  • Beautiful hike with amazing views. Highly recommend and sunset hikes are especially nice here.
  • Beautiful area with amazing rock forms.
