  • Nice, easy trails. Beautiful view of the mountains. Restored historic cabin open to the public. Horse trails too.  more »
  • I received a pretty rude email from some ranger informing me the geocache I placed was illegal. Evidently geocaching is not allowed in "Open Spaces." Well, that is really dumb, but ok...I didn't know....  more »
  • I went on a night hike that was very informative and enjoyable! The leaders were knowledgeable and friendly. A wonderful time, I will go back again when I get the chance.  more »

  • Beautiful area with an intense climb to the to of the ridge. Worth the effort to run the single track with setting other evidence of people. No noise but the birds chirping (and your own panting)
  • Great hikes and horseback riding along the pine ridge. Also has a fully restored log cabin from 1917, several bathrooms, and informational signage.
  • One of my favorite places to go walking. It's worth the drive from North Fort Collins. It's so quiet and peaceful.
  • Trails fairly well marked, nice views of surrounding area, good photo opps.
  • My favorite hike early in the morning - wonderful views in every direction!
