  • I received a pretty rude email from some ranger informing me the geocache I placed was illegal. Evidently geocaching is not allowed in "Open Spaces." Well, that is really dumb, but ok...I didn't know....  more »
  • I went on a night hike that was very informative and enjoyable! The leaders were knowledgeable and friendly. A wonderful time, I will go back again when I get the chance.  more »
  • Bobcat is a well maintained nature area. It is mostly open space so if you go in the summer be sure to go early morning or evening to avoid the heat. You can take a nice stroll and see wild flowers an...  more »

  • Bobcat ridge is one of our absolute favorite local places to hike. There are several trails to choose from and some great views. On trail goes back to a restored historic cabin. Lots of different types of wildlife to see. Recently went on a guided night walk with City of Fort Collins Natural Areas and it was amazing. A must visit.
  • Great hiking. There's a cabin just a short hike in. About 2 hours there and back with a group of kids
  • Great trails. But NO dogs allowed, we had to make other arraignments after we got there. Big sign in the parking lot but I didn't see anything on this page indicating the restriction.
  • My son and I took a bike ride on Sunday and had a picnic. It is so beautiful and the rangers there helping with parking were so friendly! They even helped us with our bikes. Thank you guys, see you again!
  • My favorite hiking spot that is close to town.
