  • We had a Groupon and eight of us made the trip from the Indianapolis area for a tour and tasting! What luck we had with out tour. We met the owners and the distiller. In fact, if you can get Caleb (th...  read more »
  • Visiting this distillery (housed in an old tobacco factory - very cool) was a nice way to ease into our Bourbon Trail experience, especially since it was just a short walk from our downtown hotel. Bec...  read more »

  • I visited Peerless with a group of friends. We took an extended weekend to hit the Bourbon Trail; although this is a completely different craft trail passport if you are keeping track. Corky (The owner) gave us the first part of our tour and went into the history of his family. Very Very interesting, especially why 50 is so important. Skip then took us the on the rest of the tour and it really was the best tour out of the 5 or 6 that we did that weekend. We all tried the moonshine at the end, but I have to be honest that I did not like it very much...which was surprising. We will have to come back and visit again when the Bourbon is ready in another few years.
  • Heads up, this place is new so there is no bourbon yet but you get to see how they make it from start to (almost) finish. It's aging now and instead of bourbon you get moonshine at the end of the tour. The shine's really good, I recommend the place!
  • My husband and I were in town for my 40th birthday. We had missed the early tour and it was almost an hour wait until the next scheduled tour. Since they were slow, they took the two of us on our own tour. You truly get to experience the process from start to finish. It was fun getting to taste the mash from the fermenting tanks. Our tour guide was fantastic, and you could tell that she loves her job! What a fun experience! Highly recommend!!
  • No bourbon yet, it is still aging. The building is nice and the staff was very friendly. We were on a time crunch and just missed a tour but they were still happy to let us do some tastings of their moonshine.
  • Growing up in Kentucky, I have visited many distilleries in my day; this one stood out. Highly recommended, you will not regret the visit. Not too lengthy, yet very educational. Amazing history in a convenient location. Everything is done in house. They really go the extra mile to do what will make the best bourbon. Can't wait to try!
