  • An all day family fun outing. Lots of rides and if the sun warms the day you can cool off on several water slides and rides.
  • We visited Kentucky Kingdom on Worker's day weekend in 2016. The attractions are great for the whole family. The only negative point was the closure of the main pool on our second day. The waterpark i...  read more »
  • 2 years in a row and I am amazed with how much they have done to provide rides for young kids. My children 4.5yrs and 2yrs had a great time. So many different ride options for them. Along with the Big...  read more »
  • Since reopening last year, Kentucky Kingdom has really become family friendly. With a season pass you get free parking and dollar drinks. Sunscreen is provided free for everyone. The water park is my favorite area, and it is rare that I can't get an open lounge chair. Obviously, the park is more crowded on the weekends, so get there early to guarantee a good spot to enjoy some sun, with plenty of SPF, of course.
  • Mobile website is clunky and unforgiving. Customer service was unfriendly and actively screened a phone call from me. Why would I rate this so high then? I got a hold of a supervisor who actively tried to get in contact with me again to fix the problem I had and tried to offer me more than what I actually needed. Also, try the original Hurricane if you're old enough to drink. Super tasty.
  • Ever since I was a wee little boy I loved to come here. The roller-coasters are thrilling (Lightning Run is my personal favorite), the water park is refreshing on a hot summer day (Deluge is my favorite water ride), their food is scrumptious (I've had the pizza, fries, and funnel cake), and last but not least the employees I've come across have been enthusiastic about their jobs. Come with family, friends, or even by yourself and you should have a good time. My rating: 5/5 stars.
  • Personally got the season pass. The roller coasters are intense and are highly underrated. The park isn't huge and doesn't try to hide parts of the rides like other parks do. It is fun walking under a roller coaster track to get on the ride or watch the cars zoom by the station. They have some other water rides like river rapids and mile high falls that will get you wet and help you cool off but are also a complete blast to ride. The lines are reasonable and the food is excellent to the point I would eat at some of the restaurants if they weren't in the park. It's an overall fun experience and it's easy to spend all day in the park and spend under 30 bucks.
  • Had a BLAST! Did not ride a single ride I did not enjoy. Also the lines were basically nonexistent when I went. The roller-coaster's were amazing. Got to ride Thunder Run in the rain, which was super fun. The Cyclos was awesome too. The water park Hurricane Bay was great as well. Lots of awesome slides. Will definitely come back again especially if they continue the out of state special. We are from Tennessee and for only 30 bucks got to enjoy the park for 2 days and free drinks.
