  • There is something for everybody. From restaurants of all types (including Guy Fieri's Smokehouse and Hard Rock Cafe) to bars to a bowling alley, pool hall, and even a fudge shoppe. It is an electric atmosphere with something going on live every Friday and Saturday night.
  • Your typical club strip. Loud, live music, and drinks everywhere. Not personally my style so I won't leave a bad review because they were kept clean. Security (internal not the ones at the gate) were a little rude. If the bar scene is for you this is the place to go. If you just want to go for a casual drink you should probably look elsewhere.
  • This place is hit or miss depending on your age and personal interest on what kind of scene you want to enjoy. There is a wide range of people from all different ages, social classes, personal styles. It has great potential and could be a world class spot for entertainment. But it's going downhill. It's so popular of a bar scene that everyone coming to Louisville, as well as people who live in the outside counties all come here. Every 21 year old birthday party, bachelor and Bachelorette party, all the way to your lower class drunks and ignorant people just coming out to find a hookup. It is pretty sloppy, and I've seen too many drunk drivers downtown leaving the bars. I work at a close hotel and we are always getting guests who come back asking for better places to go saying that 4th street is lame, boring, or just dirty. Which is such a let down because it has a great potential to be such an awesome place. THE TAVERN is a great social place to have a few drinks and play some games. SPORTS & SOCIAL CLUB is a great place to come and watch the big match on any of the huge televisions. They're always having some fun games or events going on as well. So I rate this venue a solid 3 stars because it does have some good attractions and hosts some great musicians and events. They are steadily making changes and it is getting nicer and nicer. But if you are a mature adult wanting a good time with other responsible people and not much crazy unnecessary drama, then this is not where you want to go to enjoy your evening.
  • Fun times and lots of options during Ironman Louisville 2016! Very few breakfast/lunch places though and certainly could use some more options in that regard. Also, PLEASE create a no-smoking zone as people are continuously smoking and hurting the people around them. Second hand smoke is ridiculous in public places and surprised this center allows it at all.
  • I really wasn't a big fan of this place. Seemed like this was the only happening place in all of Louisville, yet I didn't feel like it was deserving enough for us to spend too much time there. Too many drunk people and too loud. The worst thing was the cover charge of $10/person because there was some concert going on. I understand the cover for the concert but they closed off the whole middle section and didn't let anyone enter without paying, which also blocked off access to 5-6 restaurants. Definitely not worth it. If there is no event going on and if you can enter the area without paying, I'd say it's a good place to grab some drinks. I definitely don't think there are any good food options here.
