Where to stay in Louisville

Old Town has a number of atmospheric hotels close to the city’s main attractions, while hotels in the Highlands neighborhood offer proximity to the city’s most unusual bars, restaurants, and stores. Louisville’s collection of bed and breakfasts, generally farther from town, are a great way to experience some warm Kentucky hospitality. To save some money and enjoy the city’s scenic surroundings on a vacation in Louisville, consider one of Louisville’s campgrounds. The Jefferson Memorial Forest is just 24 km (15 mi) south of downtown.

  • Not worth going anywhere near this place - tourist trap and cheap chain restaurants. They require you to show ID to get into the area for some unknown reason. With all of the great place in Louisville...  more »

  • It was pretty fun with the off-road vehicle expo; the trucks were lit up and played music while everyone could see them from the inside of any spot you choose to hang out at. The Tavern offers many games along with its bar, making it a great place to hang out with friends and meet new people.
  • Good for people watching, food is good but incredibly expensive for what you get. All corporate owned business , no local flavor. The bowling alley is nothing but a non tax paying deadbeat company that everyone needs to stop going to so it closes down.
  • Fourth street live has all you need wether you are hungry, want to have a drink or just want to stroll. There is also a billiard, bowling, and a 2nd floor cocktail bar. This is by far the best night live spot if you are in Louisville, Kentucky.
  • Great tourist spot in Louisville. Near the business district and many good hotels and restaraunts. Well worth the visit.
  • The atmosphere is cool. The family loves going during lunch or dinner. Some of the restaurants are a bit pricey though.
