  • + interesting and informative, good exhibits, there's even a really rare, allowed to photograph-not-terribly hot, especially the 2-3 floors, fans do not save, severely restricts movement, don't give normal consideration exhibits (well, it is a problem of too many houses-museums, but each time infuriates), not very friendly guide

  • Thoroughly enjoyed our visit at the Conrad/Caldwell Museum. The house is beautiful as well as the surrounding houses. Our docent was a descendant of the Caldwell family which made the tour that much more special. She spent a lot of time with us answering all our questions. She allowed us to see the attic which housed many other interesting pieces of history belonging to the family. I highly recommend making this a stop on your Old Louisville vacation.
  • History at its finest! You should visit!
  • If you are interested in historic architecture, this is a must see. It is one of the best examples of Victorian (Richardson Romanesque) in the region.
  • My niece was married inside the Caldwell house back in April. It was a beautiful wedding and the house is wonderful.
  • Really cool house/museum. Went to a wedding here and got the full tour. Really neat history.
