  • A really nice state park. Went over a summer weekend for camping and the sites were clean, and quiet.
  • Great park. My friends got engaged here. Beautiful scenery to hike and explore.
  • Platte River State Park is definitely one of the better parks on this side of Nebraska. The park is definitely older, but is maintained to current standards. The lodges are great, trails are very nice, and the park itself is laid out well. They have a craft station, pool, and mini lake for paddle boating in the summer time. Something fun to visit is the little water fall on one of the main trails. Kids really like it.
  • Nice facilities, and plenty of great activities to do. However, sleeping was awful, as nearby train whistles blew almost every hour. Not really the Park's fault, but still an undeniable truth.
  • Nice trails and excellent facilities make this a hidden gem with ready access to other parks nearby.
