  • For 40 years I have come to this place, since just a baby. The original owner built my childhood home in Louisburg I think.... and the owners are a family friend to my parents. Now I live in Colorado, but the memories of this place are all good. You should come here and make some memories of your own.... if you have not started already. Famous doughnuts, though no longer cooked in lard, still delicious. I personally love the sparkling cider, which is carbonated cider.... and of course the cider it self. I worked here even, and so did my daughters mother!
  • This place is cool. A great place to take your family. The lines move quickly. Live music and you can see the whole cider process through the windows. They have a pumpkin patch and store. There are always tons of cars but it never feels overwhelming with people.
  • Good news is despite the thousands of people that showed up in the fab weather for cider fest, the parking went smoothly thanks to police and cider fest "helpers". Other good news, some good vendors out there, we purchased lots of items but absolutely no food. The sickening smell of rotting apples blowing in from the nearby lagoon turned my stomach (and those I was with) so much so that I did not buy one food item, even though I had planned on leaving stuffed full of "cider fest fare". Stongly suggest placing the food vendors far far away from the lagoon of rotting apples. I literally almost hurled from the smell, that's a first for me. Otherwise it was great!
  • I love the cider mill and the country store but the "pumpkin patch" is a joke. Not worth the $9 you pay per person. There is a goat and 3 pigs behind a fence which is their "farm animal" section and the learning area is nothing more then Fisher price farm toys around a table. The only decent activity is the jump pillow which yoy have to pay $2 more per person. The whole experience was just very disappointing. Save your money and buy more cider and stuff from the store.
  • I'm not going to say this is the worst pumpkin patch ever, but it is the worst one I have been to. It smelt like a dump, over priced and there where no pumpkins left. Waste of A Sunday.
