Andrew Murray Vineyards, Los Olivos

4.2
Passionately focused on Rhône varieties, Andrew Murray has consistently crafted highly acclaimed red wines and white wines in the Santa Ynez Valley for 20 years. His Viogniers, single-vineyard Syrahs, and blends led Robert Parker, Jr. to refer to AMV as, “…one of the shining stars in the Santa Barbara firmament.”

  • Make sure you stop and visit AMV during your wine tour of the area. The wine tasting was excellent and the staff was warm and welcoming. Worth the visit.  more »
  • We had been to Andrew Murray years ago, but clearly they have remodeled their facilities. The tasting room has a gorgeous designer sitting area, wine room, barrel room and modern feel. Megan greeted.....  more »

  • This winery has been making excellent wine for a long time. It was one of the first in this area though they moved to this location a few years ago. The tasting room is beautifully appointed and welcoming. The wine is delicious and the service is great. Come learn about wine while you taste.
  • Beautiful outdoor space - and some good varietals. will I return? Unlikely - but if you are in the area, it's a fine stop.
  • This place is absolutely beautiful. Nichole was amazing and extremely kowledgable. I love the tasting room and all the cool gadgets they have for sale. Amazing experience!!
  • Loved the vibe here! Wine was great, service was friendly and atmosphere is welcoming and unpretentious. Lawn games and picnic area were great, bring your lunch with you!
  • The overwhelming smell of scented candles when you enter serves as a warning that they have something to hide. And in fact, they do. The wines chosen in their tasting impressed no one. None stood out in a good way, although several stood out. Those particularly ill-fated wines made us grateful that the scented candles helped mask the vinegar scent and taste.
