  • Located a mile above downtown Los Gatos, this historic winery was built and run by the Jesuits to make altar and fortified dessert wines. Dessert wines tasted like a tawny port. It lasted 98 years. Th...  more »

  • I never would have seen Testarossa Winery, but luckily my Rotary club meets here which means I've had the pleasure of learning about Testarossa Winery and Dan's business philosophy. A great place, a great atmosphere, and a great time to be had! Give it a try and see what the buzz is about! Oh, and park next door at the public lot. 50 cents an hour. Hard to beat in Walnut Creek.
  • What a nice place. Amazing rose wine and great selection of appetizers. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive.
  • We were married here in November 2009 and it was spectacular. The cave is the perfect size for around 75-100 guests, and it was absolutely stunning inside.
  • Modest wine tasting prices, decent wines. If you are fond of California Pinot noir, you'll like the wines. This is also a beautiful event space for hosting a party, wedding, etc. Personally, though, I felt that the wine tasting staff were knowledgeable, but all 'business' (i.e., get you in, get you out), so it was hard to relax and chill. We only stayed about 10 minutes because of that. Next time I think I'd rather just go get a glass of wine, sit outside, and enjoy the view. It truly is beautiful and tucked away in the woods. Worth a visit even just for that.
  • My wife, brother and I had a delightful time here on Friday. The wine tasting was fun and the food delicious. Just a relaxing and enjoyable time.
