For an ultimate Hollywood experience, visit Universal Studios Hollywood, a film studio, theme park, and a self-contained city all its own. One of the oldest Hollywood studios still in use, this show business complex considers itself "the entertainment capital of Los Angeles." Originally created to offer tours of real film studios, sets, and sound stages, the complex now offers live shows, thrill rides, and behind-the-scenes presentations about the movie-making process. To see the highlights, take a tram tour of the sound stages and sets designed specifically for some of the studio's biggest blockbusters. You can also choose from indoor and outdoor roller-coaster rides that provide you the chance to face King Kong, a shark attack, dinosaurs, and a powerful earthquake. Universal Studios Hollywood Reviews
Gli studios sono una tappa da non perdere. Il costo di ingresso è molto caro, e quello che delude un pò è che sono alla fine "piccoli" ma comunque le attrazioni valgono il prezzo! Si tratta di attrazi... more »The studios are a not to be missed. The entrance fee is very expensive, and what disappoints a bit is that they are at last "small" but the attractions are worth the price! These are things all virtual, don't expect rides or roller coaster, but it's as if there were, why the mega screens and effects are spectacular! Recommended also the tour of studios ... don't tell you anything to leave you the surprise. Only thing ... we were on a Sunday and there was a lot of people; then at the end for standing in line for attractions we lost some time ... If you can go during the week, it's probably quieter and you can see more stuff.
Definitely recommend the studio tour. Fun rides and easily accessible. Hogwarts at Christmas is amazing ! more »

Just left the hustle and bustle of the city entering this carefree world, with spectacular and beautiful attractions. The site also offers a free shuttle bus traveling near a metro station, so easy to reach without a car. Fun for young and old. The study tour is very interesting to do absolutely!
We visited Universal a couple of months ago and had a great time with the family and kids. It's definitely family oriented and the kiddos loved the Harry Potter world. We arrived right when the park opened and were able to ride the Harry Potter ride fairly quickly. For parents out there, make sure to utilize the parent swap. This is a lifesaver and makes the experience much more enjoyable for those with infants/toddlers. We had an 6 month old with us. Overall, we had a super fun time and would go back and recommend it if you're looking for something family friendly to do in the LA area.
Amazing Park! Better then when I was a child! My kids (10 and 2) loved it. The themes and shows are awesome. The Universal Express passes made a huge difference and we are able to go right up into rides back to back! Love it and will return for the VIP Experience. Sooner, if I can sell my kidney to finance the trip :P
The VIP experience is very much worth the extra money paid for. We felt so special, we got a valet parking and all you can eat gourmet breakfast and lunch, followed by a nice tour specially in the studios and other extra perks such as unlimited express line access and preferred seating at the shows. This is well worth it when lines and wait times can be as long as an hour or so. Our VIP pass made us get to the same ride 2 and 3 times and without line up. Also, it was my daughter birthday and they treated her very well. We ALL LOVED the experience.
I love universal studios! This wasn't my first time being there. I LOVE that you can get a refillable drink for $15 I think it was? Or 2 for $13? Then you can bring the cups around with you in the park and just refill them. =3 An amazing atmosphere with helpful staff and the sprinkler fans throughout the park to keep cool =) The studio tour was interesting! I will definitely be going back at some point ^-^
This is one place were you can bring the family and actually enjoy your stay. At least this day was perfect. The lines were very short and the weather was very forgiving, for it being summer. We even got a little rain to cool us off. This place has co.e a long way since the first time I came here. I believe it was in 1997. Now they have something for the whole family to enjoy. The new harry potter attraction is very cool to say the least. They hit it out of the park with that one.
