  • This place is always packed with people. There is plenty to do for people of all ages: shopping, movies; dining; live entertainment; games; etc. I like the long and narrow walk ways of City Walk. It f...  more »

  • Loved visiting this area. Right next to Universal Studios. We visited on a balmy night. Lit up it's quite an experience. Heaps of restaurants and great shopping. All well priced.  more »

  • Amazing. Very intertainting. There is something for everyone. Hadn't been back since a few years. It's really changed a lot. The lot tour has 3 3d rides, that was unexpected! I have a 17 and 10 year old, they both had fun. Bathrooms are everywhere, so that was very convenient, no more long lines. Definitely check out Harry Potter the 3d rides, it's worth the wait.
  • I enjoy City Walk for what it is. It's totally a tourist trap that can get extremely busy once the mid-afternoon sun is gone. However just the people watching alone is fun and you can't help but get soaked up in the energy of the place. Parking can definitely be a sore spot for those who are just going to City Walk and not the theme park, but most places offer validation. The place is loud and gaudy, but that's half the fun.
  • Fantastic plaza with lots of stores and restaurants to choose from, solid middle to upper class income prices and plenty of tourist trap style shops selling tourist clothes and gifts. We really had a great time, very diverse clientele from every corner of the spectrum. Low and working class all the way to wealthy upper income types. Everyone is welcomed here. Really a great place to shop and have dinner.
  • It was too expensive and there wasn't that much to do. It cost more than Disneyland and it's not as big as Disneyland the people that work at Disneyland are way more polite and friendly. Some of the rides were over too quick. It seems like they have more stores than they do rides. I won't be going again anytime soon I'd rather go to Disneyland
  • Fun. Security very helpful after enjoying my daughter's Birthday Party at Howling at The Moon. Great music and a lot of fun. Wish restaurant or 2 open late. Left and everything shutting down. Handicap parking should be free with the pass.

Where to stay in Los Angeles

Los Angeles may be synonymous with luxury, but its accommodations include not only some of the most opulent and expensive hotels in the world, but also budget-priced hostels and inexpensive inns. In Los Angeles, a car opens up a world of lodging options, allowing you to stay outside the city proper and still have easy access to most major tourist attractions. If you don't mind splurging, consider Hollywood or Beverly Hills. To save money, stay near the airport or in the eastern suburbs of the city.
