  • My family and I had a wonderful time at Travel Town Museum. It was clean, plenty of green space to relax, walkways flat enough to push a stroller, and the trains were impressive, so huge close up. I am writing this review because of a experience I had at the gift shop. I collect snow globes and thought this would be a good reminder of our wonderful visit. I purchased a snow globe and was showing it to my grand daughter. She dropped it on the cement and it chipped and cracked. I took it into the gift shop and they allowed me to exchange it for a new snow globe. I was so impressed. I would recommend this destination for a wonderful experience!
  • Free viewing of many old trains. $2.75pp to ride mini train. Great fun for families w young children
  • Good place to spend a couple hours with kids, especially if they like trains. They have a good number of train engines through the ages and elaborate model train set. A good place to go offline from the over stimulating environment, for kids to experience the physical world and appreciate the engineering progress. There's no admission and open every day except on Christmas day. But they close early, 4pm on weekdays and 6pm on weekends
  • The kids enjoyed walking through the trains and just running around in general. You can pretty much cover the entire place in an hour or less. There's a train ride that operates through there, but they close at 5pm, so the last ride is around 430 as they start asking people to head to the exit by 445. We arrive at 4 on a Saturday and missed the train ride. Google showed the hours of operation incorrectly. They don't close at 6pm. They close at 5pm.
  • If your kids love trains...they will love travel town. Many old trains from the 1800s and older. You can get into a selected number of trains so you and your kiddos can explore. They have 2 areas where kids can play with their toy trains and a nice little train store. And the bed part is a little caboose that goes around the part to ride for only 2.75 per person over 18mons.
