  • I've been here twice now and the first time i had floor seating and it was great, i did not feel over crowded at all. The only let down from my first experience was a few drunk girls behind us but the...  more »
  • Great venue in general. Art Deco design is very nice. Music sound and acoustics are good. Let downs are the toilets flooded with urine and it's $16 for a beer. That to me is absolute robbery and then ...  more »
  • The Venue: Definitely a historic theater in LA. Love love love the interior of the theater, beautiful ceiling, unique deco. It's a mid size theater, even 2nd floor has good view of the stage. The Staf...  more »

  • Came for a Rocket League tournament and it was awesome. Has that cinema golden era vibe. Security don't mess around but are nice people if you behave. Lots of food and beverage options in the area though for our event, food and drinks were sold inside. I had fries, chicken tenders, a cheeseburger, a pretzel, a breakfast burrito and pizza. Everything was really good though the pizza was so so. The rows of seats are a little on the narrow side, and I have long legs, so I tried to sit on the ends because otherwise it would get uncomfortable. The cushions on the seats are also not great for sitting 6-8 hours, but it was a good thing our event had several 5-10 minute breaks every half hour. I was surprised by the quality of the projectors. I thought they had huge monitors until I realized everything was projected. The picture quality is bright and sharp. I don't know what else to say but it was a great place did our event.
  • Venue is pretty good. Very beautiful inside with all the original details. I loved the tiered floor so that it's not so hard to get a good view of the stage. Usual issues remain, bathrooms become full quickly. Staff and security seem to run smoothly. The VIP parking service is worth it if you have the funds but be aware those space are very small. If you get this service, the entrance to the preferred parking is right behind the Denny's off Oxford. We almost missed it the first time as it's not signed with "VIP", just a sign with the address. Definitely do not plan on the food they provide as meal but as light snacks with your drinks.
  • Great place to see a show. Not really a fan of the layout, though. You have to arrive HOURS before the show and wait outside on the sidewalk to get a wristband for the pit. The building itself is beautiful and it feels very "old Hollywood". Not a bad place, overall.
  • Theater is beautiful and has that old Hollywood historic feel. Staff, while friendly, needs more training and the crowd procedures in general need an overhaul as they don't run very efficiently. It is freezing in here so bring layers.
  • Saw David Crosby and really enjoyed the show. The venue is a must see for anyone that likes old architecture. The place is well taken care of. Will definitely return.

Where to stay in Los Angeles

Los Angeles may be synonymous with luxury, but its accommodations include not only some of the most opulent and expensive hotels in the world, but also budget-priced hostels and inexpensive inns. In Los Angeles, a car opens up a world of lodging options, allowing you to stay outside the city proper and still have easy access to most major tourist attractions. If you don't mind splurging, consider Hollywood or Beverly Hills. To save money, stay near the airport or in the eastern suburbs of the city.
