  • A good place to sit and relax while reading a book. There is a ton of resources for people to use and many floors of books and records. I was impressed by the architecture and the amount of variety of books and topics. Plus there is a convenient Panda Express which was clean tasted good. I would recommend going here.
  • Los Angeles loves its libraries. In an era where libraries are becoming a thing of the past Los Angeles has embraced them. West Hollywood has a brand new one and this one in downtown Los Angeles Aldo looks like vintage architecture from the outside is pure modern inside. Their Video Collection is unsurpassed and the staff are incredibly helpful. Anything you need can be found at this Library. If you're a tourist it's a must-see.
  • Beautiful, and lots of resources for job hunting; however, very dangerous, lots of homeless with mental health issues. They invade your personal space, I never go inside there without having my pepper spray ready, unlocked, and in my hand. Homeless people barricade themselves in handicap restroom stalls and stay there all damn day, I saw a women with a blender making a smoothie in the restroom; and another time I caught a woman watching me through a crack as I washed my hands... it was weird. Homeless men hit on you and think if you are a woman, you are waiting for them to be your poo poo stained, funky ass knight and shining amor. If you are a woman be extremely cautious and only sit close to staff and have protection like pepper spray and after I was followed into the restroom by some pervert, I wouldn't go to the restroom alone unless it is close to the entrance with a policeman posted by the door
  • Spacious and quiet. Great place to study or get some work done. No drinks allowed (except water)
  • Love this place. I take the family whenever I can, and we support the foundation. Reading and knowledge are core strengths, and this library is a jewel in the city.
