The Grove, Los Angeles
Categories: Shopping Malls, Shopping
Built around the old LA Farmers' Market, The Grove has become one of Los Angeles' most popular outdoor malls. Built in 2002, the open-space mall carries a wide range of products and eateries popular with locals and tourists alike. Check out the Farmers' Market, which originally opened in 1934 and still contains over 100 eateries and grocery stores. If you're looking for a healthy treat, you will find plenty of organic and gluten-free food. The mall also contains a large multiplex cinema as well as many flagship stores. Make sure to take a ride on the old-fashioned tram that carries passengers between the market and the main mall complex. Wonderful outdoor mall with many different shops, restaurants, bookstore, cinema a train and a fountain. Very good vibes. Love this place.
We started our day at the cupcake ATM machine. So the day stated out great! We did some fantastic shopping and enjoyed the beautiful views! Whoever designed the mall, did such a beautiful job!
I was happy that yesterday brought me back to this place. I'm from Orange County but occasionally I have reason to come up here for CBS for something else. This is a great outdoor mall. I would say it's very modern and trendy. It's always busy here especially at night. It's fun to walk the streets and there's a little trolley you can take. At the top and there isn't fountain with dancing waters which is nice at night especially. Have all sorts of shopping and places to eat as well as a movie theater and Barnes & Noble which is nice to slip in for a look. The parking is in a nearby structure and I believe if you purchase from The Grove to get validation as well. What the cherry on top is: Farmers Market is right next to it which by itself is great. You can buy in the Grove and Farmers Market and it equals good fun time.
This is my home away from home. It is by far the best mall in the entire United States. This place is visited more than any other tourist attraction in Los Angeles. I love the venue and the stores at The Grove. Caruso rewards program at The Grove is worth joining. I like getting the emails informing me of all the events. The concert on the lawn and the Christmas tree are by far the best. I love coming here and just walking around and watching the dancing fountain
I selected "Party Parking Valet" for my event after receiving a few quotes from several other valet companies. The office staff was prompt in their response to my request for a quote and they were quite helpful in answering my questions regarding obtaining a permit. The attendants arrived promptly at the scheduled time and were dressed professionally. I woudl use them again for any future parties.
Fancy place with fancy shops. Lots of restaurant selections and things to buy. We really like the fountain area. It is like a small belagio fountain. They also have a lawn that you can borrow a blanket and have a rest. The trolley/train also looks fun. I really wish they wouldnt call the place next to here a "farmer's market" because it is not.
While a lovely place to spend an afternoon, it can be terribly crowded with tourist. In fact it is the sec9nd most visited place in So Cal after Disneyland. Everything is overpriced, but hey, this is a high end mall in reality. They just took the roof off and added a fountain. In the winter they make it snow. That's a bonus.
