I came here for the KCRW free music event. Really enjoyed the food trucks and being able to browse the photo exhibits in-between music. Cuba exhibit now. I hear it's good, but haven't seen it.  more »

I feel that Lavery finally abandoned in the closing days in the Park is surrounded by skyscrapers near the Westfield century city with quiet certain Museum, last year after so. Admission fee-free people could take in decent condition. In Cuba, small size, so quickly that was among the listening end. Where to have lunch outside the Park is nice, so good, hotel is ideal for a break in the fun is a lot.

I really adored this photography museum. I saw the Lauren Greenfield exhibition, her photography showed the many faces of capitalism and the ultra rich in Los Angeles. The exhibition was informative, fascinating and touching. I found the exhibition quite large with a lot of information. If you have the chance to see the exhibition in two separate days, I believe you will be able to take in and appreciate much more. The entrance is free, so that should not stop you.

A must-see photography space if you're visiting LA. We saw the exhibit on Generation Wealth. Stunning photography and we learned a lot. And it's free!

Absolutely amazing exhibit - spent a bit more time here than we anticipated (4 hours), but worth every minute. $3.50 validated parking weekdays and $1 validated parking on the weekends with a ticket!

A must see in Los Angeles - - and it's free!!! This is a multimedia photography museum and exhibit hall with themed exhibits which change every few months. Examples include world cultures, war, fashion, National Geographic, nature. Every exhibit I have seen there turned out to be fascinating, regardless of whether I had any prior interest in the topic.

Wow. I really liked this place. I go to art museums in nearly every city in the world I visit but this has to be one of the best. Far from stuffy, this place makes you want to linger. Exquisite Islamic art, Art of the Pacific--and Picassos that will make you re-think the artist. There is a view of the Hollywood sign from one of the platforms and special exhibits worth the extra money. I especially liked one of the exhibits where there was no explanation next to the piece of art. You had to pick up a guide to read what you were seeing. It's counter-intuitive but it made you look closely at the art rather than gloss over the description. It is not so much just an art museum but rather a place that seems to integrate art into real life. How lucky LA is to have this gem!

Where to stay in Los Angeles

Los Angeles may be synonymous with luxury, but its accommodations include not only some of the most opulent and expensive hotels in the world, but also budget-priced hostels and inexpensive inns. In Los Angeles, a car opens up a world of lodging options, allowing you to stay outside the city proper and still have easy access to most major tourist attractions. If you don't mind splurging, consider Hollywood or Beverly Hills. To save money, stay near the airport or in the eastern suburbs of the city.
