Where to stay in Los Angeles

Los Angeles may be synonymous with luxury, but its accommodations include not only some of the most opulent and expensive hotels in the world, but also budget-priced hostels and inexpensive inns. In Los Angeles, a car opens up a world of lodging options, allowing you to stay outside the city proper and still have easy access to most major tourist attractions. If you don't mind splurging, consider Hollywood or Beverly Hills. To save money, stay near the airport or in the eastern suburbs of the city.

  • Nothing to see here but homeless people and ugly concrete. It's not really even an attraction. Felt unsafe and held my bag closer to me until I cleared this spot.  more »
  • Nice park area with a fantastic background photo opt. All of the dirtbags and homeless people certainly do bring the place down. It is in a busy location with the Grand Central Marketplace near by for...  more »
  • I went to Pershing square because it was near my hotel, the place had some homeless people walking around and a few people I am would not like to meet on a dark street. I did luck out and see that one...  more »

  • Pershing square is a short walk from my place of work. Its a good place to go for a walk to unwind and clear your mind from your work. If you get a chance to make it out on Wednesday's for the farmers market I would highly recommend the pupusa stand!! If you don't know whats those are...Google them.
  • Parking is a little weird and you can't see the store names from the freeway exit. So you pass the parking lot structure coming off the 110. But once inside very nice, clean and everything is easy to find.
  • Nice park. Has nice art pieces. Has Street vendor food trucks. A lot of events happen here.
  • This place is a toilet. The worst of the worst. One day, maybe they will fix the escalators in the parking. When they do, I will join a gym. Currently, this is a combination monthly parking and StairMaster gym membership. The worst. Let Los Angeles City run something, and this is what you get
  • I came here with a group of friends aka "like-minded individuals" for the International Los Angeles Pillow Fight Day 2017. There were hundreds of people, a breathtaking amount of feathers and pillows were flying, people were having fun and dueling a la the knights of old - how tiring just swinging and dodging pillows is makes you really think about how difficult actual knights in full armor swinging swords must have been. The event was kid friendly, family fun and also filled with tons of adults acting like children. It was so much fun.
