  • The museum had a good range of information, was a little overcrowded with stuff for my liking, a little hard to take it all in. Also would have been nice to watch videos from scratch and not have cons...  more »
  • This has been one of the most memorable and somber museum visits I have done in Los Angeles. Several exhibits stick out to me like the shrunken head of a serial killer, LA County Corner's stretcher th...  more »
  • Just like any other type: this museum is about death in all its forms. Are you interested in the macabre things then you have definitely come to the right place. What you should pay attention to is that they show the executions and autopsies on tv sets, and there are many stomach strong images of road victims and dismembered people blah. It is after all about death. But there is so much else to see, and I also bought a shirt that was a little funny at the grocery store. Well worth a visit if morbid stuff is your cup of tea.

  • Staff was incredibly friendly and considerate of my baby and teen. Very detailed and organized set up. You can tell a lot of thought was put into the creation of this must see LA attraction. Extremely family friendly and a lot of fun!
  • I can't wait to return! Inexpensive until you get to the gift shop, it's so cool!! The employees very friendly and chatty, clean bathrooms, free parking and did I mention a great gift shop? You'll be ghoulishly amazed by the exhibits.
  • Be careful what you see, because even though it's educational, its pretty disturbing, to some or most people. But honestly, it was pretty awesome visiting it. It can look a bit small, but the information and images they have is interesting to see. (Staff is great, and could teach you quite some stuff)
  • The Museum of death is NOT for the faint hearted. So if you don't like the sight of blood, this is definitely not for you . Once we entered we were greeted by a very nice gentleman. We paid $15 for entry per person. Absolutely no phone use in this place, they will be very kindly ask you to put it away until your done. This museum is sectioned off into rooms. The rooms are filled with pictures of dead people, so again NOT for the faint heart. There are lots of art and letters from people who have killed before. Lots of interesting stuff to read. When we were finished with our self guided tour, it ends back where you start. If you have any questions at all ASK because the employees are very knowledgeable. 5 stars!
  • Loved it! It was so interesting and weird and gross. It was a lot of reading but I was fine with that because it wasn't very busy when I went. Loved that there was free parking!
