Where to stay in Los Angeles

Los Angeles may be synonymous with luxury, but its accommodations include not only some of the most opulent and expensive hotels in the world, but also budget-priced hostels and inexpensive inns. In Los Angeles, a car opens up a world of lodging options, allowing you to stay outside the city proper and still have easy access to most major tourist attractions. If you don't mind splurging, consider Hollywood or Beverly Hills. To save money, stay near the airport or in the eastern suburbs of the city.

  • I loved this flea market! It had so much cool things to quite a good price. This is where I did my best shopping in LA. It's a must if you're in LA on a Sunday!  more »

  • Non-profit partnership between Greenway Arts Alliance and Fairfax High School to bring a flourishing community market, professional theatre and arts education/life programming to the Melrose & Fairfax neighborhood. Awesome local & independent businesses, artists, musicians, designers, collectors and makers fill the market every Sunday. Your $3 admission fee directly benefits students at Fairfax High. Art & local commerce uplifting the community = everyone wins
  • The Trading Post is an incredibly eclectic place. I found multiple unique pieces of furniture for my home. Lots of great people and nice vendors. I'll definitely be back!
  • A lot of attractions. I strongly recommend to eat food from backpackers food truck. Their food is tasty, and healthy.
  • Get there early before the crowds. Very trendy and fun. If you're looking for "deals" you can probably find cheaper (but you'll have to work harder for them).
  • I usually go to the Rose bowl flea market and I really think the trading post is better
