Where to stay in Los Angeles

Los Angeles may be synonymous with luxury, but its accommodations include not only some of the most opulent and expensive hotels in the world, but also budget-priced hostels and inexpensive inns. In Los Angeles, a car opens up a world of lodging options, allowing you to stay outside the city proper and still have easy access to most major tourist attractions. If you don't mind splurging, consider Hollywood or Beverly Hills. To save money, stay near the airport or in the eastern suburbs of the city.

  • It was an amazing experience.Highly recommend. It was really nice experience. Need to go there again  more »
  • As with most zoos, there are enclosures very up to date as well as some outdated ones. All in all i totally enjoyed the visit. What really impressed me, was the enclosure of the giant otters - rather ...  more »

  • Excellent zoo. Lots of different types of exotic animals. Very wooded. Excellent food services. Be prepared to stay at least four hours. It's a bit difficult to navigate, very confusing layout. But you will enjoy it anyway.
  • Located in Griffith Park. Tons of animals. Lots of walking. Small play park if you have kids. Petting zoo with sheep and goats. The World of Birds show is always entertaining. Big parking lot, but it fills up fast. Come early to avoid crowds. Bring a backpack with food and water so you don't have to rely on overpriced zoo offerings. Don't forget sun screen.
  • I've been coming here, since I was a kid, and the zoo is just great. GLAZA does very good work, and the staff at the park are nice. Thank you to the medical teams for the couple of times I had to ask advice for my friend's rescue park in the amazon. They helped out greatly, and it just goes to reinforce their awesomeness. Keep up the great work. GO PLANET!
  • I decided to do LA Zoo over San Diego Zoo because of price. The entry to the zoo was US$12.00 which is inexpensive once you are inside and see the amount of enclosures they have. I spent most of the day wondering around all the enclosures and towards closing, I still had not seen all the animals. The souvenirs are reasonably priced and the overall atmosphere is great. The layout was quiet easy to follow and the availability of the service train was great when you needed to get to the other side of the zoo quickly.
  • An absolute must if you have any children. The park has a very large variety of animals of course and is very well kept. The food and beverages within the park are also reasonably priced compared to other zoo's and amusement parks I have visited.
