  • Located in front of the bus to the beach. Is introduced as the history of the port of Los Angeles, San Pedro is the main model exhibits, historical, most do not. To be honest should screw located outside the Museum this museum than a warship, bow and 16-inch gun turret and cannon.

  • We had some time to burn before starting our cruise and saw this museum. Turned out to be better than we thought. a lot of very interesting history.
  • Although this museum is rather modest; for me that I am fascinated by the boats and the sea, it was very enjoyable. The collection of models of different types of vessels; the 3 boats of actual size that there are and the collection of marine artifacts I liked a lot. The Museum has a terrace overlooking the harbor with spectacular views of the docks and the passage of vessels entering and leaving, from enormous cargo ships with thousands of containers, until small sailboats, ferries, boats for tourists and cargo barges. If they walk about - and boat - like don't let him visit!

  • The Los Angeles Maritime Museum is the former Terminal Island Ferry building, located in San Pedro, California. Displays are updated regularly. It's location on the Main Channel at the Port of Los Angeles brings you right to the waterfront. Cruise ships and container vessels are common sights.
  • Great place to learn about the history of the area, especially the fishing industry and seeing old photos of the harbor.
  • Excellent location 3 minutes from my house. I shall go there again and again with more and more friends
  • Great museum, full of models and history. Great friendly staff, love the location in San Pedro. Going back again!
  • Great place, remember it from a trip I made to catalina when I was a kid. Decided to take my lil one. $3 for adult and anyone under 17 I believe its free. But thats a great price to see history. My daughter and I had a blast, will certainly be back.
