  • Scenic views of Downtown K Town Hollywood Beverly Hills and clear to the Pacific Ocean. Such serenity and peace... especially at the top. There are several playgrounds for the kiddos and picnic areas for that family cook out. Also nice water features and plenty of hiking trails ranging from casual to intense. Alone as a couple or in a group I'd highly recommend it. Can't wait for the weather to warm up some.
  • Kenneth Hahn is a beautiful park and a lovely natural getaway within the city. Don't forget to bring $6 cash if you go on the weekends. We have hosted a baby shower here in the past and rented one of the shelters with tables. You are not allowed to tape anything to the walls, but we managed by tying things to the pillars. It was lovely. My husband and I also like to come here just to stroll, see the birds, and enjoy the little ponds. Last weekend we had a picnic on the grass and then walked around the Japanese Gardens. After all the rain we've had, the green grass the the blooming flowers were so pretty! The kids at the park enjoyed looking for turtles, watching the ducks, and going fishing. We also saw this weird guinea hen hanging out. Great place to take kids, a loved one, or just yourself.
  • Disc golf course is nice and open not too much interference from pedestrians at least during the week. I mean free is hard to beat (again during the week, weekends are $6 parking) and there's not another course for miles so there's that too. It's windy, always, so be ready for a chill factor besides pushing your plastic around. 9 holes with many lines to play, only a couple baskets are really guarded or forced to throw a certain way. The trick again will be handling the wind. The course is relatively new so it might start getting crowded if people learn about it but it's going to be more of a place to practice for most I think.
  • What a gem. Stopped off here to finish my In-N-Out and instead spent an hour hiking the beautiful cliff side trails. The trails are sandy and at times daunting, but there’s also less steep options delivering you to the same incredible views. On a clear day you can see all of Los Angeles and the Hollywood Sign. The park also had great playgrounds, a lake with ducks and geese and plenty of parking (which is free on weekdays).
  • Great place to hike, enjoy the sun or have a picnic with family or friends. If you go during the week you won't have to pay for parking. Weekend's could get busy especially if it's a Holiday either. Going early gets you a good spot.
