  • My husband and I go to this park to walk the trails for exercise. It is a local park with everything anyone could want. There are areas with exercise equipment, a fishing pond. a playground for childr...  more »
  • The Baldwin hill Scenic Overlook is one of my favorite spots in Culver City. It is 288 very steep steps to the top but the view is totally worth it. You can see from Downtown LA to Brentwood to Torran...  more »
  • This is a nice place to unwind and get into nature in the middle of LA. Just a note you could take dogs here and stay on the street not the trails. They are making all the streets open to cars so you ...  more »

  • This place offers a wide range of parks all with their individual play area and bathroom some have wood chips others have sand the playground all the way at the top of the park has a gorgeous view and every once in awhile you can see chickens they seem to roam wild around here my kids absolutely love it. It's friendly for your pets and has a good neighborhood vibe. Well maintained and highly accessible
  • I have been visiting this Park for over 25 years, and the scenery is changing. The park is starting to get more and more people from outside if the area. This is always a great thing....But what is not great is this. I am a handicapped person...and people without handicapped issues feel very free to park in those spots. No fear of reprisals I guess. The MAIN issue I have with the growth of the diversity is this: There are many, MANY more dog walkers in the park, and it makes me super mad, when theses owners of the dogs feel no threat in allowing their dogs to run freely without leashes on. I made a report to the part a couple of years ago, where a few dogs accosted me...causing me to sprain/ strain my knee....Again...no one...or principalities are in forcing the laws put in place. I probably won't renew my yearly pass for the park.
  • Fun runs here and great for hikes! If you work in Culver City it's an ideal lunch break destination! The interpretation center is nice and the location provides great views of the city. There is also a not-too-well-known ropes course nearby!
  • There's a brand new 9 hole disc golf course in the upper bowl. It's an excellent course! Nice mountain bike trails and picnic areas and a view from LA to the ocean.
  • This spot is great for hiking, jogging, meditating, using workout equipment, grilling, picnicking, taking kids to the playground, and getting spectacular views of the city. There are multiple play structures across the low grassy side next to the duck pond and Japanese garden. At the top of the hill, there is an outdoor food prep area and grills (people reserve this space for big family events and whatnot). There is also another kids playground near there. I love taking the trails with my dog. It's great having access to such a wonderful place right in the middle of LA.

Where to stay in Los Angeles

Los Angeles may be synonymous with luxury, but its accommodations include not only some of the most opulent and expensive hotels in the world, but also budget-priced hostels and inexpensive inns. In Los Angeles, a car opens up a world of lodging options, allowing you to stay outside the city proper and still have easy access to most major tourist attractions. If you don't mind splurging, consider Hollywood or Beverly Hills. To save money, stay near the airport or in the eastern suburbs of the city.
