  • Very nice big family friendly park with plenty of free parking. $5 fee for parking on Sunday. This park had a beautiful lake with ducks and one can go fishing. Has many tables and places to make a BBQ. Has several hiking trails that one can go by foot or bike. Great views of the city from the top of the hill. Has a volleyball court with sand. Has an area for kids to play like slides and stuff. During the week it isn't crowded with people but on Sundays and Holidays it gets crowded. Enjoy this gem!
  • wonderful park to come to with the whole family, just friends, or even alone. trails, water fall, 3 playgrounds.. wait FOUR, a wonderful little area to do some stretches or a work out. and a nice big green field in the middle of the hill to have a cozy little picnic :)
  • It's an amazing park the only problem is that we came to visit here from Palm Springs hearing that the hiking trails were amazing. And it turns out that you can't pay with card. So unfortunately we had to make our way back. Everyone uses cards now it would be a good idea to take card.
  • Such a beautiful multi-use space. Hardly any people there most the time. Most people know about Griffith Park but not a lot of people used this park. There is a fishing pond and it dog park and miles upon miles of hiking trails
  • Drive to the summit of the park and leave you car. Walk out to the very East end of what looks like a bowling green right next to the parking lot, where the green plateau drops off on three sides, and look North. The most spectacular views of downtown and the Santa Monica Mountains that L.A. has to offer. Pretty much any gorgeous north-looking shot of DT you in the LA Times and magazines around the world was taken here. And we are the locals who can enjoy it for real!
