  • My family (wife with two kids aged 10 and 12) visited here in July 2017. As part of our visit to Hollywood, we visited the Hollywood Wax Museum on a weekday morning after walking down Hollywood Blvd a...  more »
  • We took a fast tour into the museum. Is similar to Madame Tussaud museum; not so expensive. Recommended only if spare time available; mainly for child!  more »
  • Custom wax figures of famous movies. With many exhibitions, you can take a picture, but there are necessary pillars. This is the most fun at the Museum!

  • We would definitely visit again. The exhibits were amazing and very life-like! We especially enjoyed that there were a lot of great celebrities. I didn’t know what to expect but I really enjoyed the Museum. The wax figures are so realistic. I would recommend this to any newcomer in Hollywood. We really enjoyed the Hollywood Wax Museum on our trip from Austin, TX. It was clean, friendly, fun, and beautifully set.
  • Friendly staff. Gave us the best price they could but it was still a little high. Some of the figures were real lifelike but some were not even close. A good one time thing to do but once was enough to see it all. The mirror maze was ok but took about 7 minutes to get through. The 3 d game was pretty cool. The kids loved it. Will be doing the miniature golf later.
  • My husband, 10-year old and 7-year old visited Hollywood Wax Museum in Hollywood with me during our trip out there. We were sure if the kids would get into it, but they did. The museum has prop stations and you can borrow the props. My kids really got into taking photos and the pictures were great. Fantastic memories!
  • Of the 3 museums this is a part of, this is the best one. Worth the price of admission? That's tough to say. If you are into a specific figure they have in here maybe it'll be worth it. For myself and my party, it wasn't worth it. Good time killer though.
  • My family really liked the props that they put next to the exhibits at this museum. The people who work at Hollywood Wax Museum encourage you to use them to enhance your photos, and it works! Everyone was using them and laughing at their pictures. It was fun.

Where to stay in Los Angeles

Los Angeles may be synonymous with luxury, but its accommodations include not only some of the most opulent and expensive hotels in the world, but also budget-priced hostels and inexpensive inns. In Los Angeles, a car opens up a world of lodging options, allowing you to stay outside the city proper and still have easy access to most major tourist attractions. If you don't mind splurging, consider Hollywood or Beverly Hills. To save money, stay near the airport or in the eastern suburbs of the city.
