Hollywood & Highland, Los Angeles

(4.1/5 based on 300+ reviews on the web)
Shop โ€˜til you drop at the shopping mecca of Hollywood & Highland, one of the most frequented attractions in the city. The center is home to two theatres--of note is the Dolby Theatre, the host of the annual Academy Awards. Over 70 shops, two nightclubs, several restaurants, a movie theatre, and a bowling alley also call the complex home. The centerpiece of the complex is a massive archway, modeled to be an exact replica of the one seen in the Babylon scene from the movie "Intolerance." Put Hollywood & Highland into our Los Angeles trip generator and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

  • On my last day in Los Angeles I went shopping on July 7 at Hollywood Highland Center Shopping Mall. It had retail, shopping and dining venues and a candy store. Great place to shop.
  • A nice small mall at Boulevard. Have a couple of different stores and there are some restaurants too.

  • When you come here, you have to think - why did I come here? There's a Sephora, sure. A Forever 21 that's totally been over-shopped, food you don't want to eat, and crowds. On the upside, they no longer allow carts in the entry to the Chinese Theater, so you can actually enjoy all the hand-and-shoe prints without people trying to sell you a light-up T shirt. The place is OK, but it's sort of a crime pit and the only reason to come here is because you're a tourist or you're going to the Chinese. Otherwise, it's H&H and the locals kinda stay away...
  • TOURIST delight, but not bad selection of eateries at different price ranges. Johnny rockets is great Burgers and entertaining, the Grill is fine food at high $$$$ prices, lot of good touristy shops to take visiting friends, then catch a movie all in the same place
  • This is a nice shopping and dining area right in the heart of things. It's an outdoor open mall. There's public transportation that goes through there and tons of parking. The parking does cost. There's a Sephora, a few different clothing and shoe stores. It lets out by the Chinese and Dolby theaters. It's a very big tourist attraction. You can see the Hollywood sign from there. We were in walking distance and went there often. There's a Starbucks and a California pizza kitchen as well as many other food choices. The security keeps the homeless community out of the mall. Sad but I understand. The architecture is beautiful!!!
  • Great atmosphere! You can really get a taste of the Hollywood experience and have fun with the locals. The shopping was great! Awesome spot for pics ๐Ÿ˜Š
  • Fun area if you want to experience the touristy Hollywood blv. You've got the TVL Chinese Theatre, museums, tons of shopping, a wonderful view of the Hollywood sign, and often cool street performers. It's a fun place to be for the hub of tourist attractions of Hollywood.
