  • A terrific place for solitude and walks into the stuffy la! Came across quite by accident, but spent three hours there, so mentally and beautiful. Greenery, a fountain outside. You can take the book, sit outside, recharge the battery.

  • We didn't visit because we checked the hours on the website and discovered that the Fowler is closed on both Monday & Tuesday, the only days we were in town.
  • It is a museum located on the campus of UCLA. What is admission free. There are four exhibition zones, exhibition which is doing in each.

  • As a student, I never visited The Fowler, I didn’t even know its full function. I took it for granted like I am assuming many students, employees and campus visitors are doing this very second. The Fowler, first and foremost, is completely free. They do have a donation box for support, but you can certainly come in to explore any exhibit. The exhibits are always changing! A diverse collection of sculptures, painting, and other art pieces are the allure of the Fowler. The museum provides an exchange of cultures you may not be able to find at other museums. In my visit I was able to explore the Nkame exhibit featuring the Cuban printmaker Belkis Ayón whose work displayed Afro-Cuban myths and visual iconography. It was truly unique in that all her work was presented with subtle tones; white, black and grey. One of my favorite exhibits was the Intersections: World Arts, Local Lives. The multi-cultural objects were so detailed and exquisite that you couldn’t help but to admire its beauty. It was a treat in trying to guess where certain object where from, what country, what time period. Overall great place for exposure to different cultures and diverse forms of artistry.
  • Good on-campus museum with small private selection. The place is tiny, so variety is lacking and most of the art is not particularly interesting or historically significant. Still, entrance is free and the place is well-curated. It's worth a visit but I wouldn't go out of my way to check this place out. There are much better museums to visit, but it's worth coming here if you happen to find yourself on the UCLA campus one day.
  • Wonderful museum.. Small, yet spacious. Amazing collections! You can easily spend an hour or two roaming this place! Would definitely come again.
  • A consistently excellent small museum. Shows are thoughtfully executed and creatively installed.
  • The Fowler is tiny but wonderful! Intersections is one of my all-time favorite exhibits.
