  • Great place to teach and learn about marine biology on your way across the parking lot to the actual beach! Fun for kids and adults with $1 or $5 donation to enter.
  • Hidden jewel - especially if you have kids to delight & entertain them for a few hours. The exhibitions are fascinating & the museum is small & well designed flow allows for giving kids some autonomy/...  more »

  • This place is great and am coming back. It is not super huge or expensive. If you want to see a local aquarium but don't want the hassle of the Long Beach aquarium go here. Cabrillo Aquarium is so much simpler and less hassle. It does have giant whales bottle nosed dolphins or giant pirate crab fish but it has great displays and local history of the local marine life. The displays are well done and well cared for. There is a lot of pride and love the staff have for this place and it shows. There must be a million field trips through this aquarium because it is family friendly here. Lots of parking clean place is up to date . Love this place💖 🌊
  • Well maintained and stocked with many interesting exhibits featuring the California and the Pacific Ocean. Never too crowded, inexpensive and easy parking. Bonus: Carrillo beach is a 100 yards away.
  • While it may not be as ellaborate as a Aquriam of the Pacifc, it certainly holds up to it. This a comfy little place to get much more closer to sea life than you ever could elsewhere.
  • awesome museum/aquarium. live animals. interactive displays. very wide variety of oceanic creatures.
  • i ate a fish and i was thrown out by a mighty force and launched all the way to syria. im dead right now. 10/10 would get captured again
