  • I think this is one of the shortest train tracks, but interesting because of the history and the steep angle. Only pays 1 dollar to go up, and if you want a souvenir, there’s a souvenir ticket also. You can ride one way up, and then take the stairs down. It’s very near to Grand Central Market too.
  • This is a super fun ride up Bunker Hill that you just should do for the sake of doing it. Trust me. It's fun. It's quick. If you have to wait in line, you'll wait longer than the ride lasts but it doesn't matter. Why? Because it's super fun. We noticed there's a minimal fee to ride up, but the day we hopped on it was free. So there's that. And this is totally unique and totally an LA landmark that should be experienced!
  • This is a cute little ride, great for tourists. Located right across the Grand Central Market, and priced at $1 a ride, this is definitely worthwhile. The bright orange color is quirky and great for photos. The wood inside is vintage, we went on a weekday and there was hardly anyone around. There was only one other person, when I went with my family. The hill the ride ends on is perfect in the evening, with a great area that’s perfect for LA photos. I don’t know if I’d do it again (I think it’d get boring fairly quickly), but I wasn’t disappointed and definitely think it’s worth doing at least once.
  • It's short but fun train ride. You just go up and down. Located across from the Grand Central Market. You can eat there and then go for a ride. The Red and Purple line train station is also right there.
  • I had it on my bucket list to ride a train - this technically counts. Although the ride quite short, it was a fun one. Bring cash, it’s $1 per ride, and that’s not round trip. At the top there’s a very nice area to walk around and take pictures.
