  • We went yesterday to celebrate our daughters 9th B-day, had a reservation at 4:15. We had been to the American Girl Cafe before and had a memorable experience. Unfortunately, that was not the case yesterday. Right from the start our table was ignored while staff was cleaning up after party's that had left, waited 15 minutes for a server to greet our table. Normally, people go to theme restaurants for the experience, especially for the children. It just didn't happen yesterday. We felt like we were being rushed through the motions and that we were an inconvenience to the staff. I felt that the staff were the left overs that did not make the cut at other restaurants. It was towards the end of their shift and we felt their desire to wrap thing up. The food was terrible, it was frozen and heated up in a microwave. The food and service were terrible, sub par at best. This will be our last B-day party there, our whole group felt the same about the entire experience. Too bad, we have had memorable events there in the past. We will not return. The Bond family.
  • We had a reservation, so there was no wait for us. Lunch at $23 is a pretty good deal! Includes beverage, cinnamon bun starters, veggie humus platter an entree, and dessert. My daughter loved it! Her Itty Bitty baby was given a high chair and tea cup for the meal. Beautiful decor!
  • Our party of 8 had a reservation for 6:15 pm. However, 2 people were unable to show for work, so the waiters and hostesses were stretched to say the least! We waited in the foyer for one hour! Once seated at 7:16pm We were pleasantly surprised with a waiter that respected our food allergy little girls and brought us 2 appetizers that were gluten, dairy and egg free. Our entree and dessert totally surpassed our expectation and was truly worth the wait and price. The atmosphere of the room was pinkalicious, perfect for girls, who seemed to feel special until the moment we left. They loved their dolls all had a special seat beside them at the table. The wait was difficult but the staff made it all worth the wait. I give Great thanks to those people who were so dedicated to doing a great job without complaining.
  • The experience at this store will stay forever remembered. As were walking to the store, I liked how cute, kid-appropriate music was playing, as if it was setting the mood for the special event. The time we went was in the morning or early noon time, and there wasn't a lot of people at the time. I loved how the floor was bright red carpet, and the many decorations everywhere. My sister got to take a picture with the Girl of the Year model in the front, and there is tablets around the historical characters section. They even had a girl-sized egg seat inspired from Julie. I think this store is the best compared to the other American Girl stores acrosss the nation. There is a section for each type in the store, one place for historical characters, girl of the year, etc. After walking around a bit, you can soon remember where every thing is at. I also love the customer service. You don't even have to ask for help, they are most likely to greet you and ask if you need help. They are easy and friendly to talk to. When we were looking at the Kit's room, a nearby worker asked if we needed help and we told her that one of the products shown were not there, and she stopped her work just to get a few more for us and piled more just in case others would get some. And she was quick, as we were in a hurry. For me, the check-out was quick. There is also nearby outlets to go to, and the store is in a good location. However, you have to park far away if It is also a bit expensive. But, overall, it was worth it.
  • Ah, the Mecca of 10 year old girls all over America. It certainly is a big store. Would be nice to have cheaper options in the restaurant, but then again if you are worried about the prices, you probably shouldn't be in there in the first place. Oh, and we saw that lady from the Superman movies. No, not Margot Kidder, silly. The recent ones.
