Loved the tasting here! Great stop when going to Bandolier Monument. The blue corn bourbon and red sangria were my purchases!

The ports (especially the cherry port!) and the single cask bourbon were really good. The gins were tasty, too. We didn't even have time to try the wine here. It's a cool place, and you feel like you walked into a hole in the wall. But it's a fun atmosphere.

Looking at the building from the outside, you'd think it was abandoned, but the entrance and parking is in the back. When you walk in, you are in for a great surprise! It is cozy, homey, relaxing and a place to meet friends. Ina, the hostess was a joy to visit with and was extremely knowledgeable about the wines and spirits. The wines are delicious and the variety is vast. I strongly recommend Don Quixote as one of Northern New Mexico's best originals.

We drove 1.5 hours out of way to go to the winery at the White Rock location. The website and their precorded voicemail stated they were open, however upon arrival we found out they were closed. Another phone call resulted in a conversation with a lady who stated that location was permenantly closed, which was a great surprise to us. They still had all signs up on the main road and in front of the residence/winery and even had a temporary sign in front listing the tasting prices. I'm sure the wine is good, as most New Mexico wine is, but due to their poor customer service I refuse to provide them my business.

I would give less than 1 star. Bought a bottle of the shiraz to take home, totally different and nasty compared to the tasting at location. Even the white sangria, which is hard to mess up, it's nasty sour. After all the years of passing and never stopping, i shouldn't have gone in
