  • Why be listed on the map and have the brown directional signs if you are not open for tourists to come? Very disappointed that we couldn't see this attraction except from the outside of the fence!  more »
  • If you are into the old west history and ghost towns then this is a great place for you! The tour guide is very rich in knowledge of the history of the old mining town and the family that lived there....  more »
  • We were disappointed that the ghost town was only open by appointment and specific days only. Drove down a dirt road off the beaten track and say a little - enough to take a few pictures and leave. No...  more »
  • Google mapped correctly, this location is closed to the public. Guided tours only can be arranged in advance. I couldn't get in, but circled the property. Pretty neat place if you're into this sort of thing.
  • Pretty sure google maps has this in the incorrect place. I just happened to stop at the Lordsburg, NM visitors center and asked about Shakespeare Ghost Town, which I thought was in Deming, NM. They said it was right there in Lordsburg. They said it was only open one weekend a month, which is why some other reviews posted about the "keep out" sign, I guess. I checked out the spot in Deming that google maps has as Shakespeare Ghost Town. It's empty road.
  • If u know the history its a cool place. It is here that the cowboys curly bill, John Ringo, jim Hugh's, and there friends, came during the lull of there battles with the Wyatt Earp gang of Tombstone. Shure if ur in a hurry or have high expectations. You can't appreciate a place like this. But thank God we still can see our western history and evan walk among it.. Special Thanks to the people who take time to preserve Shakespeare for people who can slow down to appreciate the past.
  • I called the number three times to try and see if there was any possibility of doing an investigation with my paranormal group . Unfortunately The man that answered the phone is a nice gentlemen he seems but he is deaf as a post . so if u call be prepared to yell if you get this person
  • It was posted "Keep out". Waste of time.
