  • Short history of the three battles. It didn't appear the map was totally in operation. In any event if you are used to some of the NPS ones of these like Fredericksburg or Kennesaw Mtn, this will be a...  more »
  • I bought the tickets as a combo at rock city so I only saw the battles of Chattanooga and missed the part of the film. Was a huge waste of money for just under 30 minute movie and gift shop. I enjoy m...  more »
  • The map and film are interesting but there's only one small room of displays for the museum part. Many of the display items aren't marked either. It doesn't seem worth the extra money.  more »

  • If you are into battles stop here. The man working there was awesome. He knew so much was able to answer all of our questions. Super nice guy.
  • A must see, so much history. Really awesome orginal fort on side of mountain. Absolutely beautiful sunsets from the top.
  • Proprietor is a smug a-hole who refused to honor our coupons for free popcorn with purchase of a 20-oz soft drink (on back of Incline Railway ticket), whining that it was "too late in the day" to pop more despite it only being 4 pm with two shows remaining. Of course, he was happy to sell us overpriced candy with our soft drinks instead. Cynical bait-and-switch, or just a lazy, good-for-nothing employee? You be the judge, but either way it sucks. Avoid.
  • Great place to visit. Over on a tour all the way from Scotland. Loved the incline railway as well. Would love to visit Chattanooga area again.
  • Visited in the summer of 1960, when I was seven, and long before the world went off a cliff or two. Memories of this place have lasted a long time, far longer than the War it explicates. Obviously, they did something right with this. Going back to see how time has treated this little study in Blue and Grey.
