  • Well I took my dog there. It was like a beach club on the Beautiful Wekiva River. You can play Volleyball, paddle boat, swim and much more. Plus people watching. People are playing games kids running a...  more »
  • Went to Wekiva -second visit and just as fun as the first! Its a nice place to chill with a cold beer or wine and watch the people floating down the river on kayaks and canoes! The canoeing was awesom...  more »

  • Local gem, drove from Miami to soak with the dogs. Thank you for having decent prices on craft brew! Made me drink more and try more beers! Service was great. The kids that are in charge of parking should have a sign with rules, got into a stupid discussion about where my beer came from... Overall Awesome time, people were nice, younger crowd but a mature vibe.
  • Great little spot. The water is perfection, plenty of chairs, but you can bring your own too. Would recommend you being an umbrella as there's little shade when sitting out on the dock (expected). The food/bar shack is open early don't worry about not bringing a cooler. It's dog friendly: a reminder to people without dogs. All the dogs were friendly, people around were friendly (even without dogs), encouraging the dogs to meet each other and whatnot.
  • Kayaks are way better quality than the State Park and $30 for an all day rental makes more sense to me, plus you don't pay to park and there's a bar. The view is pretty awesome too. If you're trying to skip the beach but still want fun in the sun this is the place.
  • A beautiful wildlife park with many sights, especially in the early morning. Note that many reptiles including turtles and alligators sunbathe in the morning and retreat underwater toward the heat of the day. This park is reasonably close to UCF and can feel overpopulated, my advice is to go on a weekday and double-check that it isn't spring/winter break. Canoe rentals are about $20/2 hours and about a mile down the path is a booze island if midday drinking is a hobby of yours. The river doesn't loop around so be sure to turn back after feeling fatigued.
  • Can get crazy crowded so if you for sure want to get in during peak spring and summer get there early. Awesome bar selection. Definitely a place you could relax and spend all day. Lots of smokers would be my only negative but that's not their fault.
