  • If you drink beer and don't know of Lefthand, shame on you! If you do know of Lefthand and haven't been to the taproom there is something wrong with you! It's an institution in Longmont and well beyon...  read more »
  • OK, so we visited on a Friday afternoon, so shouldn't have been surprised by the place being packed. We tried the sample flights, one light, one dark. All good, but none really great -- should have st...  read more »
  • Porter is one of the best ever. Stout nitro is great also. Nice place, good location. Talk with the brew master. Super guy. One of the great beer places. Probably the best of the front range. At least...  read more »
  • Great local brewery right here in Longmont! Giant tasting area, super friendly bar staff willing to talk to you about the brews and kind with tasters would you not know what you'd like to try next. No on-site kitchen, but they often have a food truck. (Check their calendar) I have seen people bring their own food. They occasionally have events onsite and off . They host Hops and Handrails in the Spring - a cross between a ski-n-snowboard even and brew fest in Rosevelt Park in Longmont and it is GREAT! with tons of other breweries and a constructed ski hill. You'll have fun as long as you like either snow sports or beer - if you like both you'll be in heaven! The brewery also offers tours which are lots of fun and come with a free brew. Make reservations for the tour as they do fill up. As with many tasting rooms, they usually close earlier (8:30?). A good neighbor in Longmont, especially to artists, offering space and events to support the Lefthand Artist's group and other causes. Love 'em!
  • It's not hard to tell that Left hand is a towering independent brewery. I made my way 30 minutes out of Denver to visit on a weekend excursion. I was happy to see so many options reviewing the list of regular and rotational brews. The tour was a little lengthy and designed to cater to the brewery/ brewer's mind state. This is a place for beer lovers to unite. A cheers of sorts for the beer minded. I have nothing but great things to recall from visit. The only frustrating points is I would have liked to purchase a shirt to commemorate, but their inventory was at a skelton shift with one of around 6 shirt styles available in size large. Also, no food? They have some great high abv brews and food is needed to avoid a break down from beer brain. But, the point is do they make great beer? Yes. Do they embody the brewers spirit? Undoubtedly. And that's worth the visit right there. Just maybe grab something to eat on the way.
  • Great tour experience. Authentic and knowledgeable staff made it a cut above. Show up early to buy a beer to take along, then try a flight after the tour. You'll want to sample so many.
  • Love this place, great beer great service! Couldn't be happier with our stop there.
  • For some reason this is not how I pictured this place at all. I liked it even better when I visited. Beers were quite good, and the Hard Wired Nitro was delicious. Smooth, coffee, chocolate, tasty. Extrovert IPA was also good, but my favorite was that Hard Wired Nitro.
