  • Ya gotta love Ort's farm. The best Jersey corn and a feel for what a farm stand should be, great produce and the only place we buy our Christmas trees.  more »

  • Had a great day at the farm. Better then most I have been too for pumpkin picking. It was very well run. Staff is very friendly. Went there just for pumpkins and ended up spending a couple hours there. Lots of stuff to keep the kids entertained. Snacks.. all around good time. Nice to see a farm celebrating there 100th year.
  • This is our favorite place to go pumpkin picking. Friends of ours recommended it, having gone every year since they were kids. It's a tradition for us now as well. Besides having the obvious hay ride and pumpkin picking, there is also a corn maze, apple cannon, mini train ride, monster truck ride, and petting zoo. Most of these cost a little extra. If you don't want to spend the cash, there is a hay tower to climb, a hay tunnel and lots of photo opportunities. The petting zoo itself is also free if you don't want to feed the animals. FYI, the past few years, there has been a Groupon for the hay ride and corn maze. It has saved us a great deal of money!
  • October is a busy time of year for any farm. You have to go with this in mind. Have been going to Ort my whole life. Things have changed over the years and it does draw bigger crowds. The hay ride is nice. The selection of pumpkins is good.
  • Friendly staff and lots of delicious strawberries to pick.
  • Come here often, usually for apple cider donuts or to pick up some produce and generally have had good experiences. The farm refused to refund my money this morning though when I returned a carrot cake roll. The reasoning was that they could not resell it because we tampered with it. There was something green in the roll that we weren't sure of and decided to not eat it. Anyway, returned food should NEVER be resold whether or not it appears tampered with because the farm can no longer account for the integrity of the ingredients which could lead to a food allergy question being answered wrong, or worse. If I knew the farm had a no return policy I would've simply thrown the roll away. The farm offered to exchange for a pumpkin roll which was positive customer service and was fair so I accepted - until I learned I would have to move to the back of the line to wait for the other customers to be rung up. Haha.. rack and stack in order of importance not the order of the line. Still love the produce and the autumn activities!
