Has potential but not worth stopping here. Lack of sculptures. .Better off at bar watching sports or anywhere.
The displayed art is always changing and usually fun to see. Great views of Manhattan. Mostly visited by locals who combine it with a shopping trip to Costco's, which is next door.
Visit to the park was a disappointment, with so much space I am amazed that they couldn't find statues to put around to at least justify its name, it is a sculpture park after all.
Free movie nights, dig the diverse crowd. Best times to come are 2 hours before it closes during the week. So peaceful and quiet. Nice place to unwind. Isolated which keeps it quiet, but need a bike/car to get there. I saw there is a bus but have not tried it.
Its ok good view of the city,ok sculpture it close to Costco like a block walk .dont need to be a member to eat thier
Wonderful public place, which we love to bring or dog to. Dogs can run off the leash before 9 a.m. and on weekends, there seems to be a nice group of dog owners coming together. There seems to be a lot of love put into this park by the artists, which makes this small place so charming. There is a tiny but serviceable farmers market on Saturday. I would push the rating to 5 stars if they would open the park earlier in the morning. Many of us would like to take our dogs there before leaving for work.
Outside and free. Gives you something fun to do that isn't a restaurant or a bar. The events are tons of fun and draw a good crowd. Places like this make life better.
Art installations are very disappointing four times out of five, but the view across the water is nice and it's an easy "just in case" visit after the wonderful Isamo Noguchi museum down the street.
