Chattooga Belle Farm, Long Creek

(4.5/5 based on 65+ reviews on the web)
Chattooga Belle Farm is a 138 acre working farm and event barn located in the shadows of the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains in the western corner of South Carolina.

After years of neglect, the orchards were overtaken and the legacy lay hidden until someone saw what once was and what could be. Thousands of new trees plus vineyards and berry patches were planted and now they welcome the public to enjoy this special place.

There is something for everyone on the farm. Family friendly activities include various U-pick fruit trees including apples, peaches and plums plus raspberry and blueberry patches. The charming farm store offers just picked produce, regional food specialties, grass fed farm beef and unique merchandise. The first Sunday of every October, the farm hosts a farm-to-table dinner in the vineyard featuring all local foods prepared by award winning local chefs.

While visiting the farm, guests can experience the extraordinary flavors of wines made with grapes and other fruits grown in the vineyard and orchards, offering over eight different varieties including the regional Southern specialty- muscadine and scuppernong wine.

After working up an appetite from walking the grounds or just enjoying the peaceful mountain breeze, Belle’s Bistro is the perfect place to unwind with lunch featuring many delicious items straight from the farm. Belles Bistro is open Tuesday through Sunday from 11-2. After lunch visitors can enjoy a game on the 18-hole disc golf course or just relax in a rocking chair and take in the sweeping mountain views.

The event barn is the ideal location for weddings, family reunions, and corporate retreats or any special occasion that calls for a setting like no other. The barn offers spectacular views of three states with 7,000 flexible square feet of space including a heated inside great room, covered patio area and lawn space for tents.

Conveniently located to large metro areas including Atlanta, Greenville and Asheville, visiting the farm is an easy day trip. Chattooga Belle Farm- unlike any place on earth.

  • Very friendly people run this market. Beautiful scenery all around. Only draw back is that if there is an event happening there is little to do.  more »
  • Go in the fall to pick apples. You won't be able to keep from taking pictures in the orchard with the beautiful mountains in the background.  more »

  • How could you not love this place! This is your view for lunch, which is amazing. When your done you can check out the gift shop. A lot of the items come from the Orchard and farm. We always bring our friends to share. Aterwards, we go down the street and restock our whiskey supply that he has converted me to...I like my beer. They have cider available also. Check it out.
  • Great place to relax... We love coming here each year around the Oct timeframe. We decided at the last minute to go by for lunch on our way from Blue Ridge, GA to our home in Columbia, SC.
