  • If you're a Cal State student you absolutely must visit The Walter Pyramid, to support the school's local teams! The atmosphere inside under a game is fantastic and is a must see.  more »

  • Went for a cheer competition. This place did not have any distinct negatives, but it did not stand out as being particularly special as a venue for comps. It had the feel of a gym, rather than an arena. Overall, not bad.
  • The Walter Pyramid is home to Long Beach State basketball and volleyball and is one of the city's landmarks outside of downtown. Stop by and enjoy one of the events here. You'll love it.
  • Great sports venue. This was the first time I've been there and our was really cool. The food is greatly overpriced though.
  • Great venue for the IBJJF Kids Pan American Tournament.
  • We come every year to compete in the SJJIF World Jiu-Jitsu Championship. It's easily accessible, has plenty of room, and has great view's from virtually everywhere. Only bad thing is it gets very humid during all the fights.
