Once a luxurious ocean liner, today The Queen Mary is home to a hotel, restaurants, and numerous exhibits. Take one of the guided tours to learn about the history of the ship, including its construction and service in WWII. A variety of other tours are available, such as an exploration of the ship’s haunted past and a journey into the historic submarine. After getting your fill of history, browse some of the stores. A nautical-themed gift makes a great souvenir. Don’t leave without sampling some of the onboard drinking and dining options. The 1930’s-themed observation bar, once the liner’s first-class lounge, offers superb ocean views. Choose to start, finish, or center your holiday on a trip to The Queen Mary by using our Long Beach vacation route planner.

  • We enjoyed our time spent on the Queen Mary - we spent most of the day aboard exploring the whole ship. We thoroughly enjoyed the Historic tour with Danny. It does seem expensive, the admission fee pa...  read more »
  • Amazing!!! Go see the propeller down by the 4d theather! First showing is free with admission. Sponge Bob 4D was adorable. I love all the history of the ship and things there are to look at. Awesome Lego replica of the ship and extras for the kids to play with.
  • The tour of the queen marry we took was amazing. Lots of information about the ships past and how it ended up where it is today was presented to us. We got to visit parts of the ship that where off limits to most of the public because we had a guide. All of the staff at the queen marry where very polite and friendly. It was a great place for a family vacation adventure.
  • I attended a wedding here and all staff were very helpful from directions to waitstaff to the wedding planner. Everyone was friendly and willing to help. The food was good and the wedding planner was an expert at keeping things running smoothly. Get some fresh air out on the stern at night : the view is marvelous!
  • I was here for a wedding reception and the venue was absolutely amazing. The outdoor portion of the evening had us outside at the back of the boat, with great views of the city and a nice breeze made it comfortable even though it was really hot that day. The seating inside the lounge is elegant, and the look of the venue was just awesome.
  • Had brunch, the coffee exceeded my expectations by miles, the food was fantastic across the board, my mimosa glass was never empty for very long, and the service was not only friendly but immensely helpful. My only qualms are that the desserts were sub par, not only in comparison to the other food by in general. And that there was no Wi-Fi. However one doesn't really visit a brunch place for the deserts, and I was too busy enjoying the absurd amounts of truly great food to be bothered by the lack of any sort of connection on my phone.
