  • I have been coming to shoreline village since I was a kid. They have done well in maintaining this old shopping area and I still enjoy coming here with my family. Lots of restaurants and shops. Plus the view of the Queen Mary and the beach bike path nearby it's a perfect location to experience LB.
  • This aptly named a village. It's got all kinds of shops and eateries. Very classy and beach at the same time! Parker Lighthouse is out over the water and such a beautiful setting. The food was elegant!!
  • Love this part of Long Beach. A warning there we lots of tourists here, but it's a really nice, unique area. Great place to take the family. Just be forewarned that parking here is not free and you'll be walking a little bit. Make the trip, though, because there are some very unique places here.
  • Casual dining options is good, great location near the water. Plenty of parking. Just an all around awesome entertainment area. Love it and definitely plan on going back more often.
  • At Tequila Jacks and our waiter Jeffrey on Friday Night was the best. The food was good and Marquritas were great. Of course I never leave Shoreline Village before visiting Hot Licks.

Where to stay in Long Beach

Most of Long Beach's attractions are near the water, so look for accommodations around East Ocean Boulevard. Downtown sits right in this vicinity, so you'll find plenty of rooms in large hotels, many of which have undergone recent and extensive renovations. For quieter environs with convenient access to the beach, look for cottages, houses, and apartments for rent east of downtown. Many of these offer ocean views. Naples Island at the east end of the beach is Long Beach's toniest neighborhood; the prices of accommodations here reflect this.
