  • This is more of a store then a museum but it was alot of fun and was pretty large and a good non beach activity.  more »
  • This is our family-go-to place when we giving the peninsula. It is advertised as a museum antique store but one good stroll through the place will let you see why it is so much more. My 7 year old lov...  more »
  • This place is a hoot -- and bring some quarters for the orchestra player piano. Yes, it's a shop filled with tourist doodads, but it's got a lovely funky charm.  more »

  • This place is awesome! Lots of bizarreness packed in this shop. Old dime music machines from the 20's-50's. Shrunken heads and antiques. Much much more. Everyone in area needs to stop in at least once. At least to see the alligator man. You won't be disappointed.
  • This store is more of a souvenir shop than a museum. They have lots of fun toys, rocks, taxidermy, clothing, tchotchkes, and other items for purchase. The prices seemed fair, and it was definitely a fun place to shop. They also had grab bags (and boxes), they were inexpensive and had several fun items in them. The only museum like features were some old games, music boxes, "love meters" and similar devices. They are coin operated, so bring some nickels, dimes, and quarters.
  • This place was an awesome eclectic mix of the oddity museum, an art gallery, and a gift shop. People of all ages will love this place! Well, so long as you can stand the noise from some of the fortune-telling machines :-) Plus, they're pretty close to the beach!
  • An interesting place with lots to buy. It’s mostly a store but has some cool old carnival type of machines. We didn’t have any money but you should definitely bring coins like nickels so you can play with them. We got to hear a few of the old music making contraptions from other people playing them but there were other interesting things that I have never seen there. Definitely go to see Jake the Alligator Man!
  • So COOL!!! Spent over an hour just in amazement at the insane amounts of medical curios and taxidermy. All 4 of my family who came left after 2 hours and had totally different things they saw. This place is intense - not everyone can stomach the first sight they see as a real human skeleton found in a long beach closet, Jake the Allgator or the Cyclops lamb. Did i also mention it's FREE? Just go already!
