  • We were there overnight with a total of 4 people. We have two girls aged 6 & 7 and they LOVED it. We plan on going back another time so that they may enjoy the pool, miniature golf and the playgrounds...  more »
  • This is such a beautiful statepark. The park has nice bathrooms and not to bad on pricing on full hook up and we will go back if we go that way again and there is a waterfall statepark just down from ...  more »
  • We were just there overnight and can only speak of the campground as we didn't explore the rest of the park. The roads were paved as was our level pull through site. Mature trees around but little in ...  more »

  • -Recently stayed 2 nights. July 3rd and 4th. Was expecting it to be super busy and noisy BUT to our surprise, it was wonderful! My husband and I slept so good! -We set up our tent in the E section. That section needs some work because it's very rocky and slanted BUT you can make it work. All tent sites have power and water which was a plus! - There are a ton of things to do if you have children! -Hungry for breakfast? Stop by AJ's diner just down the road for a homemade meal!
  • Treetop adventures was amazing and then we drove further back and discovered the mill! I had no idea it was even there. Seems well maintained and is a popular place.
  • Lovely park. Do not accept E loop sites, they are not at all flat. Rules are poorly enforced in camping areas. Don't count on sleeping. Not especially motorcycle-friendly.
  • We camped in campground on site D5. Nice site with concrete pad and graveled patio area with fire ring and picnic table. Be aware site D5 has no trees around it, therefore it could be HOT during the Kentucky summer days. We were not able to experience the grist mill or homestead as neither open till Memorial Day. Will definitely camp there again. We camped April 5-9, 2017 in 43' fifth wheel.
  • I just love this place. It's so peaceful, I never see the people in the campgrounds act loud or disrespectful. Family oriented.
