  • We had a very fine experience at this spectacular property in the Santa Rita Hills, known for Pinot noir. The Bar Lazy S and the Reserve are the best but all of them are quite good. Estate Chardonnay,...  more »

  • Another Firestone family winery. Just never disappoints. They really do spend the time to tell you about the winery, the way they make their wines and why it's different.

  • Shhh... Please don't tell people how great this Pinot Noir is...
  • I joined their wine club! Love their wines! Beautiful property
  • In the heart of the Santa Rita Hills, this Pinot Noir is on my list as one of the top five in the world!
  • Not impressed We visited this winery and we felt like the person pouring was pretty bored with us from the moment we walked in, which is their loss because it doesn't take a lot for me to buy several bottles at one time. We got the feeling that if we weren't going to buy a case we were wasting their time. Their wines are decent although overpriced, and the owner isn't as hands on as one would like a vintner to be. Sure, the facility looks beautiful, but I think the mark up on the wines pays for it. By the way, we found that 99.9% of the wineries in Edna Valley and Paso Robles do refund tasting with purchase (minimum amount may vary), so maybe Lompoc is different?
  • The people and the wines are first class. We are very picky about joining wine clubs, but Foley's is very worth it. Almost none of the wineries in the area refund tasting fee's, so it's not fair to pick on Foley. They feature white wines, not many in the area do so. Good stop.
