  • Just to start, Andrew gave an excellent informative tours about very minute details of vineyard management. What a great guy! They better give this guy a raise as he was superb! They gave us some nice snacks as well and he took great care of my dog. I love they use minimal pesticides and are environment friendly with the vineyard mgmt. However, the wines were not that great which is what i come to a winery first and foremost for... Not the view, not a cute building, not the tour, .. the wine. Rose was thin and uninspiring, stainless chard was ok but way overpriced and the rest of the wines were priced as well way beyond the quality of the juice. Even the $60 pinot noir was very underwhelming. I know my pinot having been thru the gamut up in willamette valley which makes some excellent expressions. Wondering if the change in management of the vineyard has something to do with this as i am quite puzzled why this gets so many 5 stars? Tour - 5+ stars, wine - 2.5 stars.
  • This was the most amazing educational and vinticultural experience ever. The sustainability process, the commitment to wine, people, experiences, bonds of friendship only start to explain the joy of the short and outstanding time spent at this drop dead beautiful location that focused on great wine. They are non-pretentious, well spoken, knowledgeable and completely engaging. And the wine...fantastic. Everyone and everything else paled in comparison. NJ
